Recognizing Your Weaknesses

Do you know when you need to ask for help?

I thought I knew more than the average person about computer issues, preventing security breaches, and how to set up a computer system to reduce the risks for intrusions, viruses, spyware and all the other threats growing almost daily.

Boy did I learn much this afternoon working with someone who specializes in this area when he discussed with us our systems.  Even with all the systems, software and safeguards we had established, he identified vulnerabilities in our commonly used solutions.

Based on his suggestions we are implementing even better safeguards and will have him consult with us periodically to review our systems as well as ensure we continue to implement the most practical measures available to minimize threats to our computer systems.

Some of my best decisions have been made based on the advice provided me by individuals smarter than myself who specialize in their fields of expertise.
