Drawing upon twenty-six years experience as a CPA, practicing fraud examiner, professor, author and frequent lecturer, the session leader will provide attendees with an approach, tools and advice for performing procedures that are applicable to virtually any task, from investigating wrongdoing and auditing financials, to making every day decisions. The task leader must have a vision of what their end product needs to be, much like an artist’s vision of a piece of art. Everything starts with defining the goal, identifying what needs to be accomplished, followed by developing a strategy and playbook to ensure all efforts are focused. As with artworks, no two matters are the same, and a successful strategy will be largely based on an individual’s ability to draw upon his or her education, experience and creativity.
