Each year, eighth grade students at Assumption School benefit from the expertise and guidance of Junior Achievement's middle school program that reinforces the value of workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. Students are introduced to many economic concepts and useful facts about the working world.

This year was no exception. Stephen Pedneault, principal and founder, Forensic Accounting Services, LLC, in Glastonbury, assisted eighth grade teacher, Mrs. Alda Smith to complete the program in a day long seminar held for the school's twenty-two eighth graders.
